Writers
Watch this space as we plug in bios and information about our growing list of blog writers. Here, I’d like to talk a bit about how we recruit, how we train and work with some of the best writers in the country.
Part Science. Part Art.
You’ll hear me say again and again that writing content for SEO is a rare mix of art and science. The search engines have their demands and our writers are trained to “submit” to them, to write the way that works. Yet if we only did that, only wrote to please the search engines, we’d maintain no long-time readership for your website. Your audience wants to read great content about subjects which interest them, and they want to buy products and services which support their interests and needs.
So a good content writer has to blend art and science. The writers of Ion Leap are trained continuously to do just that. We have weekly conference calls in which we share metrics, discuss what’s working for our customers, what’s changed in the technology, what comments the end targets are making about the content. In short, we’re always training, always learning, and constantly writing. These are the things our customers don’t have time to perfect. And that’s why they come to Ion Leap.
Search Engine Optimization. You Gotta Love the Metrics.
We feel like we’re opening a present every time we turn on Google Analytics and check out how our clients’ websites are doing. Even if the numbers are suddenly trending down, it’s great learning and we can quickly figure out strategies to turn them back around. This isn’t the ordinary work of writers.
Maybe that’s why our writers are so good. SEO is brand new and the best writers are curious about all things. The Internet is a never-ending source of things about which to be curious.
