Content writing changes. Your blog writer ready?
The Google algorithm is predicted (by Google) to change up to 500 times this year. Why? Two reasons -
(1) To stay ahead of the scammers who try to trick it into giving their websites a top ranking
(2) To offer the very best search results for their customers, a large market – 70% of all searches happen on Google.
So, how can the blog writer keep up with tons of content writing regularly posted?
At the end of all the changes, I have to believe that the companies doing honest content writing will be the winners. Are you putting up regular postings with relevant key-phrase-rich content? If you’re doing that 3 or 4 times a week, you will see yourself climbing the search rankings.
As you look through my postings, it’s no secret what my key phrases are. (Look at the key phrase cloud at the lower right.) Remember, at Ion Leap, we’re white hat when it comes to how our blog writer teams do content writing. “White hat” means no tricks, no link farming, no key phrase spamming. Just solid, long-format content writing with tons of useful material for your prospective customers to learn from and enjoy.
Content Writing = Brand
I believe the demanding changes that are coming in the Google algorithm will make it more important than ever for companies to value how they’re building their websites. Remember, your website is just one part of the entire Internet. I’m guessing at this, but I’d be willing to bet that the folks at Google think they’re the gate keepers of truth and quality on the Internet. And, if that’s what they think, there’s certainly no one else I’d consider for the job. Google has excelled at setting the standard for the highest quality open search. They’re forcing content writing and blog writer professionals out there to hold themselves to a higher standard. As a result, I believe we’re in for even more stringent demands on content.
While those trying to trick Google into ranking them higher will undoubtedly be spanked in the coming months, good solid content will never be looked down upon by search engines, or by your prospective readers. The alternative to “black hat” tricks is content writing. What’s the alternative to content writing? Nothing, of course.

Speaking of that, content writing really should be considered a part of your marketing mix. Coming from the advertising agency business, I can tell you, it’s likely not. As we’re talking about getting serious about your Internet presence, there aren’t many other areas for you to be serious about regarding your online presence -
- Flashy flash movies are a thing of the past
- You’re already effectively using social media, right??
- You should have an Intranet by now
- You’ve likely already been SEO’d
What does that leave? Oh, yeah, the actual content of your web presence – content writing.
The question isn’t how cheap, it’s how good
There really aren’t any short cuts to getting a high ranking on the organic (free) side of Google. You’ve got to have good content, updated and fresh about 3 or 4 times a week. And you’ve got to allow about 3 or 4 months to see the real climbing begin to succeed. That’s what great content writing will do for your website. And you won’t need link schemes or any other “black hat” gimmicks the SEO guys are offering. Great content eventually gets linked to by other websites. They’ll beg you to be a guest blogger on their site. And great content lasts for years. The ROI for solid content on your website just keeps going up.
Contact Ion Leap and let’s talk about how easy and affordable it is to get started.
